Bio

I study intelligent solutions focusing on image analysis and robotics to aid clinical tasks. I completed my undergraduate degree in Biomedical Engineering and Master's degree in Robotics at Johns Hopkins University. If you are interested, please check out my projects or CV.

Projects

Image-Guided Intraoperative Spinal US

Deformable 2D-3D registration to pre-operative CT scans to reduce patient and physician radiation dose. A custom-built robotic interface communicates with the arm, while bone is segmented using a modified UNet.

Vertebra Prediction

Spine segmentation and vertebra prediction from x-rays using an iterative segmentation and classification combined network.

Dislocation Detection

Dislocation detection within hips, shoulders, elbows, knees, and total arthroplasties with a pre-trained ResNet-152 fine-tuned using transfer learning.

Engagement

An homage to a close friend's wedding. The proposal, made at an arboretum, had been written using invisible ink on orchids to mimic what bees are able to see.
